When You refill ink cartridges, it is necessary to correctly protect the printhead (after cartridge refilling and testing) against drying up the ink. Incorrect protection may cause ink floating near exhausted nozzle and contaminate sponges in the next cell. Contaminated sponge may cause printout problems (instead of yellow colour gets greeen or instead of red colour gets "rusted effect"). Old sponges rinsing not always bring satisfactory results and for colour ink cartridges. Those activity is very difficult because of cartridge construction.
