Chip resetter for Canon CLI-8 and PGI-5 cartridges will reset the OEM cartridge chips to "new" specs, allowing your printer to recognize the cartridge as new when you refill it.
In order to reset chip, it is necessary to put cartridge with chip to resetter. The diode, which is installed under the cover of the resetter, will start to blink. After 5 seconds diode will shine all the time. This mean, that the cartridge was resetted correctly.
